Radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called Britain, Israel and the US an ‘Evil Trio’ today. See the article here. I just find it kind of funny. So, the US has the Axis of Evil which is Iraq, Iran and North Korea and now several years later an Islamist cleric has taken to calling Britain, Israel and the US an Evil Trio. I’ve got to say, as much as I hate to, that the Axis of Evil has a much better ring to it; but then again, Bush had plenty of speech-writers working for him this Muqtada doesn’t. Oh, language is so much fun.
And in this corner coming in at 120,369,248 people we have the the Axis of Evil and in the other corner coming in at 369,685,238 people the Evil Trio: a fight to the death. Who will win the right to call themselves heavyweight champion of the world?
