The BBC is currently running this on its breaking news ticker. I know it was broadcast by Iran so the question remains, can we trust it? But nonetheless Bush identified Iran as part of the ‘axis of evil’ so it would make perfect sense to me that spying on Iran has occurred especially within the past six months to a year. I think that if the US invades/bombs/or otherwise attacks Iran it will be catastrophic on so many levels. I pray to God it doesn’t happen. Let’s hope that Bush does not go into Iran in his last years as President. He has caused enough damage as it is to US foreign policy and relations. This, my friends, might well be the last straw. I think Americans are hated abroad now; if an Iran attack goes ahead I better offically revoke my American citizenship and claim to be Swiss because even the British are hated by the Middle East at this point. At least the Swiss are still considered neutral.
One other thing: soon-to-be British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has admitted the Government has made mistakes with Iraq. Thank goodness someone is able to admit it. I didn’t like Brown nor did I really want him as PM but with this, I might just change my opinion.
