People have to have a license to operate a car but anyone can go have sex & "raise" a child! Why does it matter if you're married, gay, etc to be able to adopt & LOVE a child!!!!!!?????!!! You bet I will be voting against this if it comes up on the ballot. I know many couples that "live together" who are better parents than a lot of married couples I know. You are so right!!! Rumor has it that the case might be dismissed because the woman's husband was on parole or something and is pretty much an untrustworthy loser. There was no evidence of injury in the kid either (prior or otherwise). SO, just from what I have read and heard I tend to side with mom. I mean, how can a mom hurt a little bitty baby. I know it happens but I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt. BUT, the kid might be hurt worse someday and then I would feel like shit. Which is why I no longer have an opinion on this matter. The end. Also, if you are a good parent I don't think it matters who you have sex with. Look at Rosie O'Donnell.
