I love Presidential primary seasons like this one, where you honestly don’t know who is going to win…yet. Give it another month or two and it may be a bit more clear-cut. But, for now, the news that McCain and Clinton have won New Hampshire is happy news for me. I’m still an Obama supporter but I like that the race is still to be won; it’s not sewn up for one candidate.
As an Obama supporter I’m not downhearted for the reason above and the fact that despite Clinton’s narrow (and it was very narrow) victory, they will have the exact same number of delegates from New Hampshire. Each will have nine delegates so, in reality, no one won or lost, except John Edwards. I might also add how happy I am to see John McCain win over Romney and, of course especially, Huckabee. I like John McCain, even if he is a Republican.
On to Super Duper Tuesday, 5 February, for more results! By then we may know better who is likely to be the nominee.
