Three times now around the London Bridge area I have seen minor celebrities. Twice I have seen Matt Berry from the IT Crowd. His IMDB page doesn’t have a picture so here’s one from the IT Crowd website. I think he lives nearby due to the two times and the fact he’s been carrying shopping.
Now today I saw Maggot from Goldie Lookin’ Chain on the train to Charing Cross. GLC is a white Welsh rap group. They mainly did funny rap and it was quite hysterical. Their most famous song is ‘Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do.’ Very funny and worth watching the video. He looked very normal and was playing on his BlackBerry. I wanted to say ‘alright butt’ and ask for an autograph but, alas, I was surrounded by people and did not have a pen.
If I can’t see really famous people in London, like one of the Spice Girls or some crap, at least I can see relatively famous people! They’re still more famous than I’ll ever be and it makes a cool story.
