A secret camera caught President Bush joking that the current US economic woes are due to Wall Street getting ‘drunk’ and having a ‘hangover.’ How could one man be so callous you ask? Two reasons: he’s got money and he’s only got a few more months left in office. He’ll get away with it as usual; but in watching this I got to thinking of a similarity. I think America is just now sobering up from an eight-year hangover with ‘ugly coyote’ himself George Bush. Old Joe and Jane Q. Public went and drank themselves a few too many ballot cocktails in 2000 and thought they got themselves a fine catch to take home. They realised their mistake the next morning and vowed not to do it again. Then come 2004 they met up with Bush again after a few too many and did the same damn thing. I guess there’s just somehting in his eyes…or maybe it’s his sense of humour. Think goodness he’s moving away and we won’t have to worry about it happening again!
