You would think that church would be the one place you wouldn’t need a gun but, oh no, the Arkansas legislature comes to the ‘rescue’ of gun-owners everywhere: Bill To Allow Guns In Church Most people know I’m not an avid gun person. I’m not wholly against owning them but I do think many Americans are too obsessed with guns and their ability to own them. I do think they’re too easy to obtain in many places and I certainly don’t ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever think anyone would need a gun in church!! Lord love a duck, that’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard of. What this bill could very likely lead to is more lost balls and toes. Why? Because some idiot yahoo is going to bring in his gun, forget to take the safety off and BOOM, he’s a eunuch or a toe-less wonder. If ever the phrase ‘shooting oneself in the foot’ were more appropriate, I don’t know. Utterly ridiculous if you ask me.
