Tony Blair has finally gotten the recognition he so deserved: the Presidential medal of freedom. Perhaps, we should really say he got the recognition he so thought he deserved. It’s so nice to see Bush’s number one lapdog has gotten a treat for his loyalty.

Sexist? Eh, the jury is still out. Freaking hilarious? Yes. It’s Bush and McCain straddled atop a piggy-looking Sarah Palin. Well, I found it funny anyway, but I’ve been told I have a warped sense of humour. Eh, to each his/her own.

If the international community is so unhappy with China having the Olympics this summer, why did the IOC give it to them in the first place?
Several human rights organizations spoke out against the deplorable human rights condition of China, in conflict with the Olympic Charter of the IOC. (Wikipedia)
If they had such a problem with China hosting them, they should’ve voiced concerns then. Go ahead and boycott the opening cermony now but it won’t do any good.
I saw this cartoon on the Post’s website today and thought it mildy humorous. I then thought of what the punchline should really be: “While you’re back there, George, would you mind removing the knife from my back?” That’s referring to the dirty tactics used by the Bush administration in 2000 in South Carolina. I think it’s just as appropriate and funny as the current one.

Very funny. It’s animated so watch for a few seconds to see it all.

I found this morning’s Guardian cartoon absolutely hysterical. Hopefully you will too.
