Tenby

As promised, I can now reveal the glorious Tenby photos; all 136 of them! (if the slideshow doesn’t work, leave a comment and I’ll email you a direct link) I’ve added tags so you can tell what’s what. You may notice a bit of an obsession with an old fort. It’s privately owned and I [...]

Watch this space

Hubby and I went to Tenby in west Wales over the Easter bank holiday weekend. It was four days of sun, sea and fudge. I’m still going through the nearly 150 pictures I took so check back later this week for the whole story.

Long time, no post

Sorry I haven’t posted in a week and it’s not looking promising for another week as I’m off to Savannah, Georgia, tomorrow for a quasi-family reunion. It will be nice to see the sun again. It’s been too long. I realise the Democratic convention is going on but so far I haven’t found anything that [...]

Why is it?

When you go to pack for a trip you cannot ever get out of your head that you’ve forgotten something? I’m off to Arkansas on Saturday for ten days to visit family and friends and eat my weight in Mexican food. I am super-excited. Just thought I’d share that with you.

Chicago O’Hare is great…

Well, sort of. I’ve been sitting here in the airport since 1.00pm today central standard time. I have about 45 minutes left to kill before I head through security to my gate to make my flight to London at 8.15. I can’t be bothered to go into all the gory details at the moment, but [...]

Edinburgh

As I said last week Tim and I went to Edinburgh last week with his parents. We spent an afternoon in Edinburgh and then went to Carnoustie to see the British Open golf championship on Friday. It was quite fun all around, except we were freezing on Thursday in Edinburgh on the open-top tour bus! [...]

On the road again…

Well, Tim and I are off to Edinburgh, Scotland tomorrow with his parents. We’re actually going to Carnoustie for the British Golf Open because his dad looooooves golf. We’ll spend Thursday in Edinburgh though so expect more pictures soon.

Brussels

I went to Brussels on Friday with my London Elects colleagues for a team fun away day. We arrived around 11.00 in the morning and left around 8.30 that night. We took the Eurostar train from Waterloo. We ate, we drank, we walked, we enjoyed ‘team bonding.’ There isn’t a lot in Brussels to see [...]
